Novotel Edinburgh Park

The atmosphere of the hotel is quiet.

my room was good-sized with sofa, had smoke detectors for safety measures. an electric kettle and a refrigerator were available too. the private parking was on site, good service. every staff member was helpful and attentive.

Food options are appetising.

Pleasant hotel in a good area, next to restaurants and bars. Neat room with sofa bed and balcony plus a lovely clean bathroom, and smoke detectors too for guests' safety. Decent location to explore Edinburgh and good service.

New-fashioned and airy room with sofa, window open plus balcony, and the pool was lovely. The rate was £ 33.

The room was tidy, room service came every day. The breakfast was a lavish buffet with typical English breakfast including haggis. As I was busy at a conference at the university, unfortunately there was no time left to test the pool, too bad.

The direct bus connection to the university was unfortunately only every hour. But the hotel can't help that.

I booked the accommodation because of its location not far from Edinburgh airport. The service at the reception was very friendly and courteous, everything was explained where to find what, when breakfast was served, etc. The room was very spacious and comfortably furnished, it was also very clean.

- Parking at the hotel was not free (4 pounds/24 hours). - Breakfast was also not included in the price

location was great (i am not a person who likes to live directly in the city, so it suited very well) tram was 3 minutes away. breakfast staff very nice, room service very good, very well isolated (you can hardly hear anything from outside)

The gym might have more stuff.

Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, swimming pool

Location: is outside the center but there is a tram stop nearby that brings you 20min to the center... Our room was on the side of the tramway and the railway. It gave noise when the window was open.

Hotel staff were good but had difficulty understand simple commands. Overall they were good.

We had breakfast the first morning and had to wait 20 mins for our tea. We also had evening meals for the 2 days we were there, the food was terrible, tasteless and like it had been just thrown on to the plate. On the second night we had 3 egg cheese and mushroom omelette which had no taste to it at all.

Friendly and helpful staff, reasonable swimming pool and leisure facilities, nice firm mattress, everything worked well.

very nice hotel, very clean. although it's located outside the city, there is a train in front of the hotel that arrives in the center of Edinburgh in like 10 minutes, and it cost 2.5 pounds for every direction - we preferred taking the train instead of taking the car into the city.
